Guys, is there a simple instructional or tutorial somewhere to record on my Android phone, edit and save as wav and/or email as mp3's. I have the trial version of both programs but see advertising copy for them...but no link to a guide. I probably should instinctively know what to do but I don't and have some need for remote auditioning coming up

Also, can I plug the phone charger into my cigarette lighter/inverter and do my work without draining the phone's battery?

Once again, YouTube is the answer. There are all kinds of tutorials for all kinds of stuff there including these.

Bill... Where the phone charger is concerned... No. The phone's usb port will be occupied by the OTG cable which connects your mic and interface.

That is, unless you intend to rely on the phone's mic to capture your dulcet tones. Shocked

As for learning to use the aHobo Tounge? There's always this....

Good luck. With the right phone or tablet, AE is a great tool.

Yes, when editing, or anything else, you can charge while using the aHobo Tounge. Just not while connected to the mic.

There are no stupid questions. Only stupid people who don't ask questions. Wink

Ha. I was all set to defend the guy. ("I don't see where you come off calling this guy STUPID?")

Then I'm thinking... "Todd Ellis...Todd Ellis....why does that name sound familiar?"

Ha...HA....DUH...

I havent found a really good editing program out there for Android. USB Recorder Pro is good for recording, but I've yet to find a good editing aHobo Tounge that isnt just a ringtone maker in disguise.

Yes indeedy. I have had it for a couple of years. VERY NICE. Best on Andriod. Apple stuff has more audio aHobo Tounges, but why would I torture myself like that? !

I tried to download the Audio Evolution aHobo Tounge onto my tablet but I didn't have my MicPort Pro and mic attached, so it didn't want to let me have it. I'll have to try again.

Try again. Having your gear attached (or not) shouldn't affect your ability to download. It WILL look for your device upon boot-up, but not when downloading.
