Over the past few days actor types have been making and posting videos of song lyrics delivered in the style of a Shakespearean actor and they are hugely entertaining.

I am not an actor in the true sense of the word as I have had no formal training at all. Stage, film, TV, voice - NOTHING!

Yesterday a proper actor, Emily http://www.emilysteel.co.uk/ nominated me to make a video as detailed above. "15 second Shakespeare". I obliged. It was very silly and it made me smile. There I was on stage at The Roundhouse, the audience hanging on my every word. Game over, back to work.

Proper job was to read something very arid without yawning. My mind was still in captivating m'audience with the magic of the Bard mode. Now, I am so uninteresting that those who have met me will testify to the fact that even I don't listen to what I am saying, it's a gift and my lifestyle advantage. The VO session and the final product? I lifted the text so high that applause and gasps could be heard from the bosom of the stars as I took my bow at the throne of the Sun.

Top Tip for today - Find something to "act" before you start work, it'll make all the difference.

That'll be $7.95

On the above link both Harriet Walter and Minnie Driver are superb. To be fair they all do very well indeed.
