I raised my hand and waved it around really hard!
I love this place. I'm so grateful not just for the feedback and vo knowledge but even more so for the friendships. There is no media here, no bs, and no demoralizing. I can't count the number of times we have rallied for one of our own.
I'd not been around for a while and, this time last year, I was pulling my hair out needing advice. When I finally came here I got the love and support and encouragement that I needed. I realized the other day that I miss my old hang out and it's only my fault that I don't click on the bookmark daily. Thanks to a nasty cold I was binge watching netflix and saw the precious bookmark at the top of my page. I'm so glad I clicked.

Mandy,
I also cook mostly from scratch (often with a crock pot).
My wife agreed 10 years ago that I could do VO full time if I kept her well-fed and I have always endeavoured to honor that commitment.
Tonight it's homemade quiche but don't tell my poker buddies.

i cook from scratch almost every night, still shoot film on an old canon ae-1 on occasion (and even on the dslr shoot everything in manual) and every six months sharpen all the knives in my kitchen. i just can't give up the control.
