So here I am trying to figure out how I'm going to get away with telling you I have a new website and would love your opinions.
Take a look: www.frank-thevoice.com

Well done, Frank.
One critical comment: When the page pops up, I'm left to wonder what I might do in navigation. For the "slow-of-brain" like me... it took a little while to rouse some gumption and just click somewhere.... any where... and VOILA.... demos pop up.
The "Internets" are strange that way! |

i really like it -- so would the 20 year-old web geeks --- but i'm with vernon --- i figured it out pretty quickly --- but you might just add some small test under the headphones "listen", maybe --- or "demos" ...

Nice! I like how simple it is. I personally like demos on the first page, but I doubt it really makes that big of a difference ultimately.
I did notice that the first and third videos had pretty garbled audio. It sounds like it the audio had some intense noise reduction done to the final mix. I only bring it up because I'm sure you have the videos on there to show your voice (the audio) in a great light. I know for sure your audio sounds better than that but not everybody has an understanding of audio that would lead them to realize that the low quality audio has nothing to do with YOUR audio or your voice. It is a small thing...but why leave something up that isn't the best it can be? |

Mature looking site, like the fine aged wine that you are.
The Hagen Daz and 4 Life videos sound like the two halves of the stereo audio track are out of phase which makes your voice drop dramatically in volume and intensity. In the old days we fixed that by flipping a two pronged patch cord 180º. In the digital world....?... beats me.
Bon chance!

I like the style Frank. I heard the same audio problems as well. I wonder why you use the splash page? It took me a second to figure I could click the headphones, but the second page is really where the meat is. I am a fan of everything right where the client needs it with minimal guess work.
I do love the style. Very like you. |

You need an indicator that the headphones are your demos. Not a big fan of needing to click away to listen since you have so much space on the front page for your demos, but that's just my preference.
The title bar of the browser says "i4 solutions". You'll want to get that fixed.
Your demos all say "live broadcast" when I play them. Shouldn't they say what they are? Also, it would be nice if one demo stopped playing when I started playing another. Nit picky, I know. _________________ Jeff

I must be coming absent minded. I thought I had posted a thank you to everyone who commented about my site. But I guess it didn't come up so with that said, thank all for the omments and I appreciate it. I will look forward to fixing what I can and destroying what I can't.
