So I am on a little anniversary trip and I am staying at a hotel and they have a very recognizable Mic-light!! Can anybody name that mic??
I tried recording with it, but the pickup pattern wasn't really as good as the original. |

Try working it without the pop filter. That should brighten things up considerably.

I believe that what you have here is a classic picture of the wall mounted www.NU47.net wooden microphone.
Classic lines, elegant styling, it's a winner. Notice the unique shade effect to change the colour of the microphone.
This was one of the early project microphones.
