Only those local to Portland, OR hear the voice, unless you listen to KINK FM on the internet in the hinterlands. I’m from LA and grew up with some of the best radio on the planet. I’ve lived in all four corners of the country and heard their offerings as well. I think KINK has captured the flavor of their locale better than any station I’ve ever heard and recently it won Rock Station of the Year from National Association of Broadcasters.

One of their promo voices is a female that has an extremely intriguing voice and KINK in using her, IMO has found a voice that puts a stamp on what they are all about. Subliminally inviting without trying to be inviting. At least that’s what my ears hear.

I don’t know if that’s her total repertoire. To find out I’d like to hear some of her other work. I Googled and didn’t find anything but I know others often Google better than I. So anyone know who that might be?

Sorry, I don't, but I must say the KINK is a very fine station for its time and place. They actually let the jocks talk a bit. So old fashioned.
