|
|
A well known P2P, that I recently cancelled, wanted me back with their new Black Friday Discounts guaranteeing 20 leads per day with new plans and added that "wow you have a great voice." Ah, thanks I said, but I told the kind Telemarketing lady that I'm not interested in returning and she asked why. Well, for one thing I said calmly, a lot of the leads over the past year that I fit the bill for, you know 100 percent match etc, hadn't even been listened to and really was stalling my day with real work. With that said I wished her a happy holiday and toodles.
Anyone else getting the please return to us calls? |

But just look at the high-quality leads you could be getting!
(I actually came here to post this in a different thread as an example of 'WTF, Voices.com?! Is there literally NO approval process for submissions to your site?!', but decided that this might be a better home for it.)

It's ok for MooseVoices to do business, to make special offers, to give people the chance to earn a couple of hundred dollars on a day when they probably aren't going to earn a bean.
To build a long term career making money as a Voiceoverist it's probably not ok to associate with the above site or any site like it.
Out of the 3.5 million "Voice Talon" in the world 3.499 million completely obsess about things of no consequence at all. The reason is very simple - It's Easier.
Stop it or I shall summon a Constable. |

It's lines like this that make my day. I think this will be my new go to line for use when my children won't stop fighting. As royalty, I will add the tag line, "courtesy of Philip Banks" each time I use it. Just think of the publicity! _________________ Heather

Oh Myyyy. Well, my quaint vision of the constable from Mary Poppins has now been replaced by flashes of scenes from Luther. Quite the contrast.
Thanks for the culture lesson! _________________ Heather
