Okay, at least it has something vaguely to do with v/o.

NPR's former national voice for their underwriter announcements, Sabrina Farhi, only lasted several months, after having replaced 30+ year veteran Frank Tavares. "Reportedly" she was replaced due to complaints of vocal fry (there it is again).

But the whole point of this post is that recently I was struck by the thought that perhaps she and actress Kristen Schaal (of "The Last Man on Earth" and "Flight of the Conchords" fame) could have been separated at birth.
