Tom is right about "misrepresentation". It's a cultural difference... Europeans tend to have stricter rules and ethics regarding this kind of thing (as opposed to accepted US business practices of "fake it 'til you make it" and "it's only a lie if you get caught."). This from not only VO stuff, but from my decades in a multi-national company.

Whether or not the intent is to deceive, having a Ford spot in the middle of your demo implies (to a European) that you have actually worked for them and it's a real spot. It may be "accepted practice" in the US, but it's still a bit shady (IMHO).

I guess there's always the 4pt disclaimer at the bottom of the website though Smile

On a very practical note is BMW going to hire the voice of Ford.

Do you have a "just shot myself in the foot" demo?

THINK ON!

Good Morning/Afternoon.

I wanted to throw more support behind Bodalgo.

I tried to login today and received an error stating my password was not recognized. When using the reset password link a message came back saying "no email associated with an account". I panicked, of course, as I was still only 1/2 through my coffee and quite disoriented. I then emailed Armin directly, since I had his email from before.

Not ten minutes later, I got a direct response, from Armin reminding me that I had signed up with my business email (which to my recollection is the first time I've used it as a login), and to try that.

Again, I'm so impressed with the service.

Also, it's worth noting, that I had my first call back on an audition this week from Bodalgo. That's the first time that has happened on any of the P2P sites. It's been a day, so I probably was not ultimately selected, but I still feel good that at least at Bodalgo, the jobs are legit and being listened and responded to by real people.
