Looking back at this thread while searching other things. I have heard Word Zero from this Ilyssa Fradin after I sent her a very detailed and irrefutable discourse on how, in her words, the Union was f***ing up. In some ways I am surprised that there's been no reply, and in many more ways I am not. Said my piece and there it is. As I said last year, sick and tired of it.

That's too bad, Chris. Just wondering, have you considered dropping her a brief followup note to ask whether she had any comments or questions regarding what you wrote? If you get crickets, so be it, but who knows -- maybe your words have provoked some internal discussion.

There's going to be a "Town Hall" style meeting about the interactive contract in Los Angeles Feb 3rd. I'm going to be in LA that week, so I intend to go. It will be elucidating to say the least.

To paraphrase the Firesign Theatre, let's hope that "consternation turns to lucidation". But I am not holding my breath. A-holes like this Pat Duke can get away with pretty much hate speech, but god forbid anyone else tries to do something to help, if one is not union, one is scum in their eyes - elitist at best and downright bigoted at worst.
