You need to think about whether you always always want to have weight on your feet. With a standing workstation your chair is going to be adjusted so you continue to stand but takes 'some' of the weight off when you sit. But a drafting chair can be adjusted to 'sit' at standing desk height, which will leave your feet dangling unless they are supported by something, hence the foot rest.
Personally I like the option of taking all the weight off my feet on occasion and the draft stool does that. 8, 10, 12 work days, always standing in one form or another may cause more problems than it cures. _________________ Never do anything you wouldn't want to explain to the Paramedics
