Hands down my most difficult word is "regularly" If the producer lets me I pronounce it "usually", "normally" or "on a regular basis" otherwise I just slug through it as best I can. In the old days on the air I just dropped the first "L" and it came out "reguarly"

"Regularly" has tripped me up more than once. I find that alliteration exercises ("Larry left locks lying low", etc.) and warm-ups help quite a bit. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

That sucker is an elide on the "M".
You don't need to fullly pronounce both "M"s. Just close the first one and let that sound lead into "made".

I used to work with someone (on air) who would distinctly separate each word of D'angelo's sandwich shops. Some words are just meant to run together. |
