VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hey everyone! I haven't broadcasted this much here, but I won this years VO Peeps International Scholarship for VO Atlanta, so I'll be attending in 3 short weeks.

I know the lovely Liz De Nesnera will be leading a workshop on that Telephony voodoo she does so well (Yay Liz!) But I wanted to know if anyone else planned on attending? I only make it stateside a couple times a year, and this will be my first VOcentric event, so I thought it would be great opportunity to meet, share a beer and story with some of you face to face! Hope to see you there!

Hey Sean... I'll be there representing WoVO (we're sponsoring). Melissa will be there as well. We'll both be on a panel on Saturday, so that should be interesting. It will be all sorts of fun! Liz, Melissa, and I will probably be at the bar most of the time... easy to find.

Yep, I'll be there!...and I'll definitely be at the bar on Saturday night since both my sessions will be done by then!...of course Tom Dheere may then have to to pour me into the plane on Sunday! Gasp

BTW you can always slide a Guinness towards Bish and he won't turn it down.

Oh, and while Cap & Coke is still my standby, I've discovered Sailor Jerry and it is quite nice.

Wish I could! Can't do both WoVo Con and Atlanta (and APAC and Faffcon...grrrr), so I chose WoVo Con. Perhaps next year!

I live at the edge of Atlanta.... but I had to choose between Atlanta and APAC. Chicago wins!

However, I have purchased admission to the Exhibit hall and plan to breeze in and out a time or two during the event to see the goodies and in hopes of meeting a few of you.

If you want to meet people from this group, you didn't need to purchase admission to the exhibition hall, just make your way to the hotel bar.

Um, well, the area around the airport isn't much fun. Typical airport zone. Smile

There are so many great places in Atlanta but they're neighborhood-based. You won't find them off the main drags/highways or downtown - but downtown/midtown does have a lot to offer. Where I live in Decatur (about 30-40 minutes from the convention via subway) is just full of pubs and superb restaurants, and all in a few walk-able blocks. http://www.decaturga.com/business/shopping-dining-and-services/restaurants-pubs
