I'm approaching the end of my contract with GoDaddy, and am considering moving my modest website elsewhere. My site is five pages, fairly old, originally self-made using Coffee Cup. Five demos, accessed from all pages. One JPG on home page.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a reasonably priced hosting company? Ideally I'd like to just copy the data off GoDaddy and drop it with the new host.
Thanks! Jim _________________ Jim Barton

I remember Coffee Cup from the 90s. Didn't know they were still around
I use WebHostingHub.com and have never had a single issue. |

GoDaddy's getting too expensive. I've already moved my email from them to Google As because GoDaddy email's spam filter is non-existent.

Gotcha. I locked in an unbelieveable 2 year price with them, so I'm just sticking it out for while. I don't really use their services anyway. I just point everything to Wodpress _________________ http://www.paulstefano.com |

The only way I can get a decent price with GD is by locking in a 5 year contract.

Are you guys hosting with GoDaddy too? Or just going through them to register the domain? _________________ "The wise ones fashioned speech with their thought, sifting it as grain is sifted through a sieve." - Buddha

I host with GoDaddy. When I signed up they had a great deal if I signed up for 2 years, which I did. Now, I don't use them for anything else except to host the site and my email accounts. I forward everything to Wordpress.com instead.
If they run another deal I would have no problem paying for a multi-year price again. _________________ http://www.paulstefano.com |
