|
|
I was one of the first to buy Source-Connect when it was introduced. But I've had little call for it. And, as a result of not using it often, I have trouble with it each time I try to test it. Such is the case today.
My router configuration shows that ports 6000-6002 are assigned to Source-Connect and are enabled, yet Source-Connect states my port isn't mapped. I can't find instructions for port mapping in Mac OS X.
Can anyone please help?
Thanks. _________________ Mike

If you figured it out on your own, give yourself $25. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

The answer was: in the router configuration, the router's IP address was wrong. It had somehow defaulted to the factory-assigned IP address, and I had to change it to the one that shows in my network configuration panel.
Of course, the network configuration panel doesn't label the IP address as specifically belonging to the router, so I had to guess. It turned out to be a lucky guess! _________________ Mike
