I always feel better after doing them! It gives me a sense of accomplishment. I speak to a real person (most of the time they're very nice), make a contact, and stick a demo in the mail (or email it). It makes me feel like my career takes a step forward.

So what are the critical, tangible, day-to-day things you do to further your career as a VO talent? What has brought you the most success? The least?

One thing I do every day is to tell myself that tomorrow I will make the cold calls I didn't make yesterday!

Thanks for the reminder on how to look at cold calls positively. It helps.
