It's looks like we are GO for me doing a bit of "Stop buggering about and do something with your #voiceover career" teaching at Edge Studios in New York city on 3rd December. If you've already heard me speak, no need to attend as you've heard it all before. Session will be about 4 hours, a lot of fun and you'll end up, like most people, hating me.
I'll update this when I get the link to the Edge page or Page Edge (Miss October) |

Confirmation has been confirmed like a flashing blue, semi-sharp rotating confirmatory thing garnished in interesting cheeses.
Ed.: Four fabby hours of voiceover business advice with Philip in NYC, December 3, just $99!!
See the poster linked here: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CvKaFkmWEAAvryG.jpg
Note to Philip: I love your face and your poster and I would so like to go and see you in NYC, but in keeping with our simplicity guidelines for Event posting I had to shift the display to a link. - B |

I can think of lots of other ways to spend 4 hours and $99.
But none of them would have a hugely beneficial impact on my c'reer.
(To say nothing of the interesting cheeses.)
Come out from among them and be ye separate! _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)

A higher price would dissuade people from attending so I could go to the pub.
Doug's typo was unhelpful, it's $899 and I am SO not lying! |

Philip would be doing it for pies if he could... but unfortunately there are no good pies in New York. Notably conspicuous by their absence are steak and kidney pies... even bad ones. I don't think I've ever seen an American eat a kidney. Actually, that explains quite a lot. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

Me dear Mum, a quite decent cook, served us steak and kidney pies when I was young, but every time they smelled like piss, so I gave up all those decades ago.
We did have kippers for breakfast many mornings and I do miss those.... an oval shaped tin with Scottish plaid decoration?

I spent years looking for THE steak and kidney pie without success. One Saturday I announced to Anne that I would create THE PIE.
"Please yourself but I'm not going eat it!"
Shortcrust pastry, the finest steak, MAJOR AWARD winning kidney (prophetic as it turned out),Guinness to add that certain something to the gravy and some added additionals.
An aroma wafted from the kitchen after about an hour or so. The former Mrs Banks wafted into the kitchen, cut a slice from the pie about the size of Westminster Abbey to return 20 minutes with a plate as clean as a very clean thing.
I ain't smart, I ain't rich and I ain't purdy but I kin bake a pie. |

This is, perhaps, the best voiceover tagline what ever was. _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)
