VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

[Lee Gordon]

On a number of occasions over the past few days, when clicking a button here on the VO-BB, instead of being taken to the page I'm trying to get to, I have received the following error message:
"phpBB : Critical Error
Could not connect to the database"

Is this happening to other people, or just to me?

I have not, Lee, though I've seen such errors in the past that seem to indicate some temporary server-side issue that might indicate work being done on the config file, the database, or some such.

Had it happen on & off last night. Same error message you had. Hasn't happened today though.

I've seen it, too...but it resolves on reload.
