|
|
Hi guys.. I suddenly have a chance to purchase a Sennheiser 416 at a fair price. No fake here. All the manufacturer codes and literature check out.
Would this be a good choice for a small acoustically non-reverbant booth? Essentially a diamond-shaped WhisperRoom with sound blankets.
(Voice character is a baritone slightly prone to sibilance)
Thanks! |

Thanks Rob.. 1st rate read as always
I guess I'm concerned about the 416 needing "room" since it seems to perform well in less-than-perfect environments. These blankets I've purchased deaden the sound more than I expected.
Did you add any absorption to the standard issue foam WR provides? |

Oh yeah. My walls are pretty much covered with 4-inch thick OC 703 panels (705 in the corners), and a 2-inch thick OC 703 cloud in the ceiling. |
