Just a reminder of our policy on quoting entire posts (found under the "Read Me First" section):
Quote: | Please refrain from quoting the full text of messages you're responding to. Hit the quote button on the post you’re referring to and delete all but the most important part of the message you’re referring to then add your comments. If your response will come right after the post you’re referring to, quoting isn’t even necessary. |
Many thanks!

How to do this is not intuitive. The preview function is helpful to view if this option is done correctly. |

Simply click POST REPLY (below) instead of QUOTE (above). _________________ DBCooperVO.com

But that adds a comment to the whole thread, rather than to a specific post on the thread, yes??. I see the benefit of being able to quote a previous post. Deleting what you don't want quoted takes some practice. But again, the preview helps. |

Replies aren't specifically "threaded". The "Quote" feature lets you cite a specific line if necessary, but it usually isn't.
Anything/Everything adds a comment to the whole thread. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Context usually tells that you are replying to the above poster. It's actually good practice to run on topics and type out full thoughts and paragraphs, as opposed to the bullet point-type replies you sometimes get with quoting. |
