Oh my goodness, Moose! You finally sold it! What are you replacing it with, if I might ask? _________________ "There's Magic all around us; you just have to see it. And the most wonderful Magic of all, is just bein' alive." -Uncle Montork, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe |

Haven't sold it yet, Sean. Interested?
I bought a Sennheiser mkh 416 a few months back and I've seen tremendous results.
So, gonna part with the Mouse. _________________ www.moosevoice.com |

I actually just traded mine for a 103 with another talent. Neither of us were satisfied with how they sounded on our voices, so why not?
I had (and still have) a 416 before I bought the mouse, which was purely for sentimental reasons and because it looked cool. The Mouse sounds good, but I agree the 416 sounds much better.
Best of luck selling yours. If it's an earlier model, you might be able to get quite the pretty penny for it. _________________ "There's Magic all around us; you just have to see it. And the most wonderful Magic of all, is just bein' alive." -Uncle Montork, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe |

It's about 17 years old so cha-CHING!
It's amazing how a mic can make a difference. I was getting the occasional booking with the Mouse (let's say 1 NEW paid gig every 6 months) but since I added the MKH 416 I've gotten about 4 NEW Jobs in the last month.
And it's not like I've upped my audition frequency or anything.
The actor is, of course, the main reason why people hire but if they don't have the right mic for their voice it can definitely make a difference. _________________ www.moosevoice.com |
