| FYI. This is what the ad creatives actually mean - For the most part the people requesting "no announcer voices" are trying to be polite,. What they want to say is "Yeah we know you think you have GREAT PIPES which simply sounds like something vaguely gynecological, you really wanted to do Movie Trailers like the guy who had the limo in the thing with the thing with the other guys and that you did breakfast for a small mid large market station locally on a pre-regional national station "Good ole K-LMNOPQRST FM" until the basstids at corporate replaced you with a Commodore 64, but you just make a noise. We have no idea how important you think you were. We need an effective communicator, someone engaged, engaging. Someone who is able to sit in the head space of our target market for 30 to 60 seconds and get them to react in a positive manner. Someone able to read the list of paint colours available from a local hardware store and get people to sit up and say - "That is SO my favourite colour" or "I love the sound of that" or ....... Wait, no announcer voices is probably easier isn't it? |
