As I was channel surfing the other night, I saw a listing for a program about Ellis Island. Although it was nearly a decade old, I set my TiVo because somewhere in the back of my mind I recalled that somebody I knew (likely from the VO-BB, although I couldn't remember exactly who) was involved with a show on that subject, although I wasn't sure if it was that particular show.
My faint memory told me the person I was thinking of was a woman but as I watched the show, I recognized a male voice as that of our own Bruce Miles. Sure enough, the credits confirmed that the voice I heard was indeed Bruce's. And the woman I knew was Mary McKitrick. But wait, there's more. Drew Hadwal was also one of the voices. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Guilty as charged. The three of us voiced many of the characters of the era. DW and I went back to NYC for the premiere and met the main narrator, Elliot Gould. We got a private tour of the long abandoned Ellis Island hospital. A chilling place to be.
