Were I in a parlous state financially or emotionally or personally and as a result decided to call in all the favours I've done for people how much could I look forward to receiving? The answer is easy. Nothing. I remember everything but no one owes me anything.

For most people the difference between everything and nothing is their hand position. Palm up and open ready to give or palm down fingers in the claw position ready to grab. Today, check your hand.

When you say... "call in all the favours I've done"

Does that include the indirect results recieved by dropping you name into casual conversations? These results can vary from raised eyebows, to handshakes, and standing applauses.
