For anyone who's interested, Edge Studio is doing a teleseminar on how to market yourself for voice overs. I'm really looking forward to it. _________________ Joni Lambert

Hello, ok, this might be a silly question, http://voice123.com does webminars for voice over talents, just wanted to know if anyone has assisted to one and if they are worth the time, unfortunately I keep quite busy and it is always a challenge to take an hour or two for these type of things. |

I've never attended a V123 web function. It doesn't really matter where the teaching takes place. I would be more concerned about who is delivering the information... how valid is it... and if this information is going to accelerate my growth as a Voice Over enthusiast?
I guess the only advice I could give is to check it out at least once... if you're not being fed, don't go there again. _________________ "Bailey"

Check out James Alburger and Penny Abshire site http://www.voiceacting.com/ There you will find a recent Webinar from V123.
It's a great way to download and listen to what went on and find out if webinars are for you.

I recommend catching downloading the files of the webinars if you can't catch them in person. Unfortunately, they've been scheduling these things in the middle of the day and I don't think a client would appreciate me taking an hour of their time to use their desktop and long distance for this while I'm at their site. _________________ Greg Littlefield

I've listened in on a couple of these webinars, the one with James Alburger and one with Rodney Saulsberry. You don't get to orally ask questions, but you can enter them in via text and hope that your question is chosen to be answered. They also state they post additional questions and answers from the guest speaker on their site.
Downloading the webinar will give you most of what you would get live since only a few questions get answered live. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

Bob's right. I too have taken part (live) in several of these webinars. Aside from being able to "play along from home" by typing in a question during the event, there's little you miss by just downloading. _________________ Be well,
