This is the 74th anniversary of D-Day, the WWII Allied invasion of the beaches of Normandy France. One of the 28 replacements sent to Omaha Beach the following day was the late, legendary voice-over artist Peter Thomas. While his work dates back to the mid-1950s, newcomers may recognize his voice as most-recently being narrator of The Forensic Files. Here, with the Naples (FL) Philharmonic Orchestra, Peter recalls his life-altering memories of that day.

On the lighter side, here's Peter introducing us to Pillsbury Dinner Rolls in 1964, before Pillsbury introduced us to their Pillsbury Dough Boy icon.
