I believe this should be compulsory viewing for anyone in our business and should be shared as widely as 4 wide things with flashing lights and a Police escort.
In a fair and just world this here video should get 2,568 shares and over 11.6 million (current voices.com roster) views.

I love numbers... so I watched.
I'm glad I did.
The best way to make the average VO squirm uncomfortably is to talk real numbers, because most have absolutely no idea that this is actually a job with financial targets... it's all about the, "Squee!!! Look, a unicorn!!!"
I have absolutely no idea what that last bit actually means, but I've heard it quite a bit. Sorry... the caffeine hasn't kicked in and the vitriol has yet to be diluted.

I'm in the group that is in danger of losing a medical insurance subsidy if I make "too much money". I either have my premiums fully paid by the feds, or if I'm a dollar over their peculiar $48K limit, I have to pay 15+% of my income to an insurance company that promises to do nothing unless I am struck by a train and have the audacity to live.
My solution is to spend everything as it comes in. Professionally, of course.
