When looking to drum-up some biz by visiting websites, and the only email address given is an account for the sales department, is it or is not a good idea to reach out using it anyway? I'd like to think someone in sales would simply forward the message to the appropriate party, but there's always the possibility they could just as easily trash it. _________________ Mike

How many fewer people will see it if you don't send it vs. them trashing it? _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

here's my 2 pennies ... no trade secret ...
i find a phone number and i call. "may i please speak to the person who handles finding new, fantastic & available voiceover for your vo projects/elearning/documentary narration, et. al ...?"
if i get through, i get to talk to the right person. if i don't, now i know the person's name & can call back later & ask for them directly.
we claim to use our voices to make a living - talking out loud over the telephone seems to work pretty well for me. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis
