| Anybody seen the "Plavix" campaign on TV and in print? The main guy in the ads is a dead ringer for Courvo, in my opinion. |

Thank you for not saying "Courvo looks just like that guy". In my mind, it's always the other way around.

They always want a look-alike when they can't afford the real thing.
That's why they always ask for someone that sounds like the "movie trailer" guy... because they can't afford Don Lafontaine.
It appears that Dave is in good company.

I was cast as a stand-in for Elvis Costello not long ago. Not something that impresses on a resume though.

I don't have the head shot the casting department had here at work, so this is the best I can do from here.
 
The casting director said I had a similar body shape, same height, same size pants, shirt, etc... Even our hair line was similar (unfortunately) but that didn't matter much since he wore a hat for the scene. I just had to let my beard grow in for about a week to get that "scruffy" look.

I am jealous! That's a club I want to join!
The wardrobe department swapped your time sheet for anything they issued, so it was a choice of keeping the glasses / hat / ugly pants and shirt or getting paid.
