Applewood smoked chops with a bit of peppercorn bark. The "bark" sounds better...
Just sayin'

Well that went zipping right over my head until I looked it up... your East Coast steak house and all. Now if I have a choice, it's some kind of jazzy chutney on my pork chops.
So I'm guessing "chops" needs to be replaced with something newer, like "mad skillz"?
Or as my friend with two teenagers used to caution me on my use of current terms, "oh that's so two weeks ago!".

Instead of mint JELLY you’re supposed to use a refined mint SAUCE such as the one from Crosse & Blackwell with a refreshing touch of vinegar in it. It’s the perfect accompaniment to lamb if one does that kind of thing.

Ugh. Mint jelly I remember as a kid my dad took us to a fancy schmancy steakhouse restaurant- he let me taste his mint jelly (as a six year old, only the word 'jelly' made it into my brain). For years, he laughed about my reaction, and would offer me peanut butter and mint jelly sandwiches, just to get a reaction. Today this would undoubtedly count as child abuse. _________________ Moe Egan

Funny... my initial assumption was pork chops... but of course, lamb chops are absolutely delicious and one of the things I miss since being in the US (lamb is a bit thin on the ground where I am, decidedly over-priced... or mutton). Mint sauce (not jelly - it's too sweet) would be the choice with that for me.
It's interesting that we seem to be falling into a couple of camps... sauce is acceptable... or sauce is the devil's plaything and only salt and pepper should be used. Pah! I say! Salt should only ever be used on raw tomatoes, eggs, chips (British chips... with lashings vinegar as well) and peanut butter sandwiches. Oh... and on a Margarita glass. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Chips with salt and vinegar- now we're talkin'! Raised by Rhode Islanders, that's the only way we had fish and chips. _________________ Moe Egan

Fish 'n chips without malt vinegar splashed here and there? Sorry, no fun.
That's like jambalaya without Tabasco hot sauce.
Or struedel mit out schlag. Verboten!
