Yes, but I always run a backup since SC is subject to the occasional internet anomalous bloop. Number of times it's been requested? ONE. I figure it costs me nothing, and since it might come in handy once every few years, why not.
I do this for ISDN too, though--as appears to be the case with everyone else--I'm not getting any calls for that any more.
Basically it's (rough numbers pulled from my *ss, but probably close):
80% phone patch (almost all promo and trailer, when directed)
15% Source Connect (but this seems to be growing, esp for commercials)
4% Other (e.g., SessionLink, esp with European jobs)
1% ISDN (trending toward 0%) _________________ Jack Daniel

I run a backup too. I'm on a Win10 PC and use Sound Forge Pro 10. I've never had a problem running a backup while on a SC session _________________ www.melissaeXelberth.com

I use SC quite a lot and always roll a back up on PT but rarely ever need to send it to the engineer on the other end of the link. |
