Hello, Bruce and "FB Castaways!"

I'm Rob Reider. I'm a long-time TV performer, and more than 30-year e-learning VO and on-camera talent for the most widely-used pilot training video series in the world. I have always loved aviation and announced my first air show in 1978 but went "full-time" in 2006. Since that year I've announced at nearly 300 shows, including the "Salute to America" July 4th Celebration at the White House.

I decided to expand and build my VO business in late 2019 so in some respects, even though I had very few air shows to announce, 2020 was a good building year for me. I've kind of landed on audiobooks and am finding that very fulfilling.

I also owned a sound company and have had project studios in my home for about 30 years. Currently I use Neumann U-87s but have a number of other good mics as well.

I was led to this site by George Whittam and hope that we'll have more fun here than on FB.

An argument could be made that there's more fun to be had having fingernails pulled out than on facebook. It's an interesting animal.

Philip, in need of something fun to do when he's not voicing stuff around the world became a part-time airline co-pilot flying Airbuses and such. He'll tell you more I imagine.
