the guy in the "life is brewtiful" shirt is a pretty darn good micro brewer. he makes an "ellis brothers farm IPA" that is delicious!

I accidentally had a pumpkin beer this weekend most recent. I get flustered in crowded spots and the bar at the restaurant in the amusement park was crowded. Didn't see the selection of regular beers up on the wall, just the IPAs and "local" ones they were pushing on the stand-up plastic menu thingy on the bar itself. In anger over no Optimator or even a nice Shiner, I simply picked the one with the most alcohol, and wound up with an "Imperial Pumpkin Brew".

Fortunately, the pumpkin was more or less buried behind the less than stellar taste.

Fortunately, the less than stellar taste was buried behind the 9%.

Pumpkin can be made into a nice brandy, though.

Hmmm...pumpkin brandy. Might be worth a try...so far other than pie, the only thing I really like pumpkiny is coffee.
