I've had a LEGOs Star Wars toy commercial on my YouTube page for 11 years now with 1.4 million views (boy, time flies). Once a year, almost like clockwork, some kid complains that Luke Skywalker is using a green light saber and everyone knows his light saber is blue! And every year I explain that Luke's light saber was in the shop for repairs when we shot the commercial and they gave him a blue loaner. I finally got a corroborating "makes sense to me" in the comments.
Ah, a lighter concern amongst all the heavyweight issues of the day.

Ahh... but to some, Star Wars lore is a massively heavyweight issue!
Have you ever walked in on a conversation about "Who shot first?" or which stuff is canon, and which isn't? These guys make heated and violent political and religious rifts seem like genteel discussions about which type of sandwiches should be served at the vicarage when the local ladies meet to discuss bunting for village fete _________________ Bish a.k.a. The fervor with which these debates come out simply astounds me. The amount of time that they spend arguing and debating finite details just blows my fragile little mind.
Because seriously. Han shot first. duh. End of discussion, move along. |

First of all, why do people bother with these silly Star Wars discussions when everyone knows Star Trek is the superior franchise? _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Every once in a while while watching Star Wars spin-offs like Mandalorian I wonder how certain characters and plot points just magically hop into the flow and I’m reminded there are dozens graphic novels and animated TV shows that carry other branches of the Star Wars saga. I’m happy to be a mainline enthusiast but just don’t have the capacity for the minutia.
May the force be with you while you live long and prosper 🖖.
