In Amsterdam last week for a gathering of the great unwashed at Voicebooking. Had a wonderful time!

How much of the city has these canals!? So interesting to compare this shot with a shot of Venice...the different centuries and building styles.

Amsterdam with over 100km (62 miles) of canals blows Venice out of the water by a huge margin.

Pre-sunk to save time which is why The Netherlands is a Dyke fest. Without dykes the Netherlands would be called Atlantis.
