In Amsterdam last week for a gathering of the great unwashed at Voicebooking. Had a wonderful time!
So what?
So, I have an excuse to post my favourite cliche pic taken whilst walking around the city.
Tried to make the image smaller but as it is of a city...

How much of the city has these canals!? So interesting to compare this shot with a shot of Venice...the different centuries and building styles. _________________ Playing for a living...

Amsterdam with over 100km (62 miles) of canals blows Venice out of the water by a huge margin. |

And they're not as likely to sink into the muck as Venice is slowly doing.

Pre-sunk to save time which is why The Netherlands is a Dyke fest. Without dykes the Netherlands would be called Atlantis. |
