Hi everyone,
I don't post often, but Ive a question for you all.
Have you experienced or have you heard of any voiceoverists picking up electrical noise from the micro-inverters on solar panels or charge controllers?
Mechanical noise from racks, mounts and panels rattling in the wind?
Thank you in advance,
Susan Iannucci |

I just used the search term “electrical noise from solar panels” on Google and found a few articles of interest. I’m thinking the problem you describe has a low probability of being related, you never know.
I had a low sound absorbing ceiling in my first home recording studio and when I stood up to record the CFL light bulbs made a hum through the elevated mic. The solution was different bulbs or sit down to record.

Thank you, Bruce. I haven’t installed the system yet. Trying not to create a problem. |
