If you listened to St. Louis radio at all in the 80's and 90's (into the 00's some too, I think) you'll remember the name, and certainly the voice of Jim Cox. KSD, KUSA, KEZK (others too that I don't remember). Jim was one of my motivations to get into voiceover as a profession. He was, and IS a larger-that-life character, and a super nice guy. I talked with him over the weekend, and it brought back some great memories.

I don’t know who he is, but St. Louis is my home town. I just moved way too young to know any radio people. But I knew Corky the clown! Did I date myself?
