Hi there,
Well, I've booked myself for the VOICE conference and the hotel in Vegas. It looks like we'll drive up (only 5 hours or so).
We'd like to go to Spamalot as well. I called the Wynn box office and we can get a group rate with 10 tickets or more. For the best orchestra seats (10pm on Tuesday 3/27) they would be $64.35 each at the group rate versus $74.25 at the single rate. She said the side orchestra seats which are "just about as good" are $57 and change at the group rate. They have cheaper seats in the back and the balcony, but I've got to be close up for this show.
Connie, anything better through your connections?
One "con", the show is a half hour shorter than the original. One "pro", Wynn built a $70 million "Spamalot Experience and Grail Theater" to house the thing, so it should be a spectacle.
The Palace Station has a free shuttle to the Strip. We may be able to book a ride from them for the show.
Interest anyone?

Mike Rhys and I already booked our tickets. Do you think that the Wynn would be kind enough to move me in with the group so I'm not alone? Can't speak for Maiko, who might be avoiding you lot on purpose.

Mmm, that's a tough one. Give up my 2nd row, center seat to be further back with the VO-BB rowdies?
It's tempting I'll admit.

Ugh! You continue to tempt me! I saw Spamalot about a month ago, what a great show. Where else can you buy coconut halves in the lobby for $15.00? Do you know if the original cast is going to perform in Vegas? _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

"Monty Python's SPAMALOT will star John O'Hurley, best known as J. Peterman on Seinfeld. O'Hurley was the ultimate champion on season one of Dancing with the Stars and is the new face of Family Feud. O'Hurley, who has worked on stage throughout his career, starred on Broadway in Chicago, as Billy Flynn."
I couldn't find any other names.

Oh heck - count me in too - I'll dump some bucks into a PayPal account for the person who is coordinating.
But as far as connections - maybe Corvo? He's a big cheese there. _________________ Playing for a living...

I count 6 tickets so far, not counting early buyers. (Boy, I'm not sure how to remedy that Miko and Amy, but worry not, we have pre-show, intermission and four glorious days to conviviate. Of course now I'm trying to see how I can get to San Diego to join Connie and friends in the hot tub in February! Kidding Connie.)
I can be the conduit for a group purchase if we can't get a deal through the VOICE peeps. I'm guessing we'd need to make one purchase for the group, so I'll see how interest flows and ebbs.

No worries, Bruce. No doubt I'll be singing along anyway and you really don't want to be anywhere near me when that happens.

Bruce,
I'd like to join the group as well. Thanks for helping to coordinate all of this. (And you, too, Dave.) _________________ Be well,
