Hey there everyone,
I've been doing quite a few :30 TV spots for a client who now wants to do a :30 for an in-flight TV spot. How do I figure the rate out? What do I need to factor in (duration of spots running, domestic vs. intl' flight, etc.)? Are in-flights generally cheaper than broadcast spots?
Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction?

If you're only charging him/her a few hundred dollars for these :30s you've been doing, then just keep the rate the same; it's not worth confusing your client - "this is what I charge for :30s and that's it - do with it what you will."
If, on the other hand, you're charging a session fee AND use fees in keeping with scale, then still charge the same session fee AND calculate your time for recording (or producing) the VO based on non-broadcast/industrial scale and quote him that for a one-year buyout.
But again, if you're only making a few hundred bucks on these spots ($100-$300 or so) then don't worry about it.
