Hi there,
I'm flying away from the sun and semi-warmness of San Diego on Friday AM headed into the frigid North for a board of director's meeting this weekend. in Madison WI. I arrive around 3:30 or so - but I am flying through Chicago, so who knows when I'll actually land. Do we have any Madison folks on the board?
And please cross fingers and toes that the weather is nice across the mid-west this weekend!!!
Hugs... _________________ Playing for a living...

Fingers and toes are crossed for you Connie! Have a safe trip.
By the way, I heard you at Lowes the other day asking for "special assistance in the ladders." |

Have a nice trip! I'd bring a sweater.

It's supposed to be seasonably brisk (i.e., highs in the 20s) in Madison and Chicago this weekend, but not much chance of snow in the forecast. |

Mary,
You are a never ending source of amazement to me at all the things you know. And Connie, I'm from Minnesota originally. I know you'll survive the experience whatever happens. Honestly, I wish I would be up there. It doesn't get cold enough in North Carolina. We haven't even been anywhere close to zero yet. _________________ Be well,

Hey Bob, you're complaining???
I'm originally from NY, so I know a little bit about cold. Down here in NC, I don't mind that last week it was in the 60's and 70's. I've been away from it so long, that when it hits the 20's this weekend...I'll probably be bundled up like the kid on A Christmas Story. _________________ Donovan

Donovan,
I suppose I am, but hopefully not too much. The one nice thing, so far I haven't had to wear a coat a single day since I've lived here. (I only wear a coat when it actually gets cold, like zero or below.) _________________ Be well,

Supposed to be in the upper 20's here tonight! Pretty chilly for extreme southern Alabama. |

Greg,
But in Southern California they start wearing those things when it's 55. _________________ Be well,

I remember those days of my youth there... We'd go up into the mountains to play in the snow and I had to put on socks, then baggies over the socks, then shoes, then rainboots over the shoes... I can certainly relate to the "tick about to pop" in Christmas Story.
Now, when it's above 30, I just have a light jacket on. _________________ Greg Littlefield

At 55, I try not to leave the house. As soon as the forecast predicts weather below about 60, I start stocking provisions for the harsh weather.

Amy,
So you haven't been out much for the last few weeks, huh? No wonder you're looking forward to V.O.I.C.E. so much! _________________ Be well,

I haven't left the house in weeks. I'm too worried about chapping.
