No matter how much you practise, market and network; regardless of your marketing or representation most of you lack one thing, one influence.

At the risk of being ostracized I feel obliged to let you into the secret of the Voice Over greats like Don La Fontaine, Joe Cipriano, Harlan Hogan and to a certain extent myself.

We have in our lives, Ricky the Magic Pixie who casts good voice over spells for us ensuring work floods in our direction like a great big floody thing. Ricky's Zwim magic is available to a number of Voice Overs, I've named 4 but they're easy to spot. No matter what they advise the big bucks just do not roll in for you. Do the same as the Greats with a wave of the wand from Ricky the Magic Pixie and things would be so different.

How do you get Ricky the Magic Pixie to work on your voice over career?

Ay there's the rub! You do not ask him, he asks you!

Just thought I'd share that.

Oh dear, is that who that was? I caught him climbing through my bedroom window last Thursday morning and called the constabulary.

I think he's going to be out of commission for a while. But it's probably a good thing for all of you who depended upon him to find out what you're capable of accomplishing on your own.

I find that very difficult to believe! Ricky the Magic Pixie being :-

(a) Discumknockerated
(b) Constabulated
(c ) Out of emissions
(d) Leaving those whom he are here to serve alone in solitudinous
independence
(E) Press the # key now

Thank goodness for the Blurred Whizzingness boots of Phrandor what he uses to whisk him to safety.

Go it alone? Use own talents and ability? Bit out of left field that one (cricket expression) but it has merits.

Banksey,

You were not supposed to tell anyone. Shhh, I will not let the Fabulous Faerie Police (FFP), Troll Hounds (TH), or the Pixie Dusters Clean-up Crew (PDCC) know anything about this little transgression.

I thought the Pixie Code did not allow for the capture of pictures of these special creatures. That must have been some fast film, for he is a fleeting few these days.

Remember, mum's the word.

(Oh, I forgot, I have Magic Faerie Dust on sale for only $10 Euro/gram, complete with instructions from the Faerie Godmother. Hurry offer is good only until midnight of the 2nd full moon of the winter solstice.)

Toodles

Frank F

I bow and say "Empopunah in contriteness". At least now the Brotherhood (customary term as there exists sisters and Goats too) will forgive me. The likeness of Ricky has been posted here "pre-ignored" so no one will see it.

Dust price is a bargain by the way!

You really need a pair of Blurred Whizzingness boots of Phrandor for that.

You'll need to sell the combination of 14 Arcanas and 33 batches of Gysahl Greens at the Bazaar, and then you'll need 18000 gil to buy them with.

I got mine on ebay, but they turned out to be fake. I guess I'll have to fly like everyone else.

I did manage to find some Faery Lavender's Magical Golden Throat Elixir. Containing:

Extract of Munjaja (From the gardens of the giant Ngf taken at midnight on the third full moon using a golden tallow knife)

Silver tears from the elfin queen Snotgrandia (The ones with the little sparkly bits, not the cheaper glow-in-the-dark variety)

Essence of Squink (Free range Squinks, not the factory farmed)

Paracetamol

Artificial Vanilla Flavouring

Pixie Spit

It's very effective, but tastes like the Gonad of a giant Thongbuttock - The singular is correct. No wonder their numbers are decreasing.

OK. Back to reality now and my stupid, stupid, stupid client....sigh
