In their defense, it *was* the 70s, And the 70s were a bit of a creative morass. Have you seen some of the early videos from the 80s on MTV? They aren't much better.

That was amazing. If you set out to write the worst, most trite song in the world, and then to create the worst possible video of it...on purpose... you would never approach this cheesific masterpiece.
