The question about "FiCore" has risen its head again and again. It has been discussed to death, and still there are no real answers.
The question of whether to go Union or not, also rises quite often. Would you like to know more and find out the truth?
AFTRA (American Federation of Radio and Television Artists) has agreed to become a Premier Sponsor of VOICE 2007. The union will be present at the event. Your questions can be answered from the people who really know the answers.
On Wednesday evening AFTRA will offer a special presentation for VOICE attendees. AFTRA feels VOICE is an experience for everyone in the voiceover world. We, the members of the VOICE Production Team, feel you should be present too.
Not only will you have your questions answered about AFTRA, but you will learn and share valuable information, create community spirit within the voiceover industry, and learn more about the technology of our business.
See you in Las Veaga in March!

P.S.: I do not intend this as a selling issue, but the Palace Station is sold out Tuesday night, this is a fact - not a selling point, I was informed of this information today.
Seating for VOICE 2007 IS limited, so if you wish to attend, consider arranging for your seat soon.

You'll get one side of the truth, anyhow. Isn't it fair to say that AFTRA people will be decidedly anti-FiCore?
Kind of like talking to a bunch of Apple employees to get "The truth" about Windows.
Will there be anyone there discussing the merits of FiCore to balance the debate?

I personally spoke with the AFTRA Rep. There will be on open discussion, no "AFTRA only viewpoint". They will be there to show the merits of FiCore, and the demerits of FiCore. The Pro's of joining a Union and the Con's of joining a Union.
AFTRA is willing to be open, so should any one who attends... coming in with a "chip on your shoulder" does not give either side a chance. Arguments do not solve anything, discussion allow both sides a chance... and AFTRA are the the people who are "in the know" for both sides of the issue.
