Finally got my stuff ready to go, and now I see my only option with voices and voice123 is PayPal. I got hosed on an Ebay transaction several months ago, and they killed my account.
Has anyone had any luck getting them to accept other forms of payment? |

Joel,
I'm very nearly positive both sites accept credit card payments, not just PayPal. _________________ Be well,

Joel,
Have you tried contacting them and asking if you can send them a check? _________________ Be well,

Google now has a payment service like PayPal's so you might try them.

If I understand the problem correctly, then it would be up to V123 to accept payment from that service, right? _________________ Greg Littlefield

That'd be the problem. |

Does your bank offer an online bill-pay service? Might consider going that route. _________________ Justin S. Barrett

Why is that your only option with V123 etc.? I've done plenty of jobs through them and while I've got a PayPal button on my page there, I've never been paid through that. I always refer them to my website (so they can see it in all its glory) and the payment options there. There are many ways to get instant payment these days without going through the voice sites or PayPal.

Bruce-a-roo, it may be his only way to sign up for those services. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Joel: What about calling PayPal to ask about clearing the black mark from your account? They can't just leave your account in that state forever...there has to be some way to get it cleared. _________________ Justin S. Barrett

Ok, get this...those wonderful folks closed my account, not because of the ebay foul up, but because I had a balance of $-1.96.
And as a bonus, they won't accept a credit card payment for it...I have to mail them a check. That company is insane..always has been.
Some reading for those of you who depend on this service.

Sorry Joel, I understand you're frustrated, but I have had a pretty good experience with the company. With all large companies there are going to be problems and there are going to be groups of folks that don't like them.

I had a hiccup like this once a few years ago... I paid the negative amount and now everything works fine.

I've also had great experience with PayPal over several years. Fairly recently I made a rather large purchase through PayPal -- much larger than I'd ever made previously -- and within minutes of completing the transaction, a PayPal staff member called to confirm that it was indeed me who made the purchase. It caught me off-guard a bit, but I'm grateful they called...good to know they're keeping an eye out for identity theft. _________________ Justin S. Barrett
