I am in San Francisco for the week for the Game Developers Conference, so I will mostly be absent.

Behave yourselves or I will put Banksey in charge.

I had dinner in the most excellent company of Charlie Channel who is as handsome and sonorous as ever—he's doing more more lawyering and music than VO these days, but still records textbooks for blind students.

I'll be posting dispatches as I can and pics if I can remember to bring my freakin' camera. I'm in a tiny room in a stunning hotel: The Mosser. Just a gem and I do mean tiny-- it's like 10 x 10. The shower and other water-based facilities are down the hall. Get this-- the art of the wall of this room is pen-and-ink drawing of microphones.

San Francisco is just jaw-droppingly beautiful.

Have a good time there Deirdre. San Francisco is one of my favorite cities. I was fortunate enough to win a contest many years ago and got to stay in a suite in Union Square that went for $700 a night. It was funny because the first morning I got up and opened the blinds (in my underwear) and didn't realize that everyone in the nearby office buildings could see me.

NO! Not Banksey! He scares me. We promise we'll behave if you'll bring us back a treat.

Have a great trip DB. I'm sure that we'll all play nice.

P.S., I'd love to have some of those MIC Arts for my studio! (what studio?)

Another San Francisco fan here. In addition to the beautiful scenery, enjoy the crisp air and the yummy food while you're there!

A San Francisco treat.....hmmm. Could that be a box of Rice-A-Roni?
