And it only prints horizonatally and vertically (Does that mean it doesn't do curved text?), and only in one color at a time  |

You could get a lightscribe burner if monochrome is acceptable to you. Burns the image right on the top of the disk. |

The lightscribe's results are not overwhelming.
Kind of like painting with coffee as a medium.
