And it only prints horizonatally and vertically (Does that mean it doesn't do curved text?), and only in one color at a time Frown

You could get a lightscribe burner if monochrome is acceptable to you. Burns the image right on the top of the disk.

The lightscribe's results are not overwhelming.

Kind of like painting with coffee as a medium.

Not a knockout.
