There's talk about a class-action lawsuit.

Is anyone here owed money?

I put it here on purpose. You'll notice there is no "threat", and I'm not making the lawsuit, someone else in the group is.

If people are owed money, they need to know that there is an action afoot.
If you're not owed money, this is no concern.

Voicecasting.com, it seems, habitually withheld and spent money paid by clients for talent fees.
That's about it. I'm an aggrieved party.

Judging from what I've been hearing in the past few months, it evident that many, many tens of thousands of dollars are in arrears. If common extrapolation is employed, it's easy to imagine the outstanding money owed to talent is in the hundreds of thousands, and this is money already received by the end client.

It's a damned shame, that's all.

Let me rephrase that: It's a first-class pain in the ass, that's what it is. If I goes to court, people may end up with 10 cents on the dollar.

I'm not owed any money. But I haven't seen an audition from them in months. I don't think Donna's involved in the company that much. The daughter-in-law (Or is it former, DIL, now?) seems to be 'running' the show.

Bottom line...I haven't heard a peep out them in months.
