i'm headed out for a quick trip thursday with layovers in vegas and phoenix. just an hour at each place. so, natch, i'll be thinking about courvo being hot (vegas in june) and bruce being hot (phoenix in june)

Crikey!

I had a fire going in the woodstove last night.
Was 46 and soggy.
Now, it's 48 and soggy.

They say it's supposed to be 80 here tomorrow.

Wimps. It was 107º here yesterday and the AC died over the weekend and then the electrical panel died yesterday afternoon while the AC repair guy was here (related problems apparently). The master breaker had fried and no replacement was available. We ran an extension cord from a neighbor's house so we could run two fans and a lamp in the bedroom and tried to sleep while it was 90º in the house last night. Yeah, I was soggy last night, but a different kind of soggy fer sure.

We got a temporary fix at 6 this morning and I'm on the hunt today for a new version of this relic of a part.
