Well, after figuring out what I wanted, gathering the spare capital, and most importantly... finding the time to get everything together, I finally purchased this today:
Yes, the personal VO room is nearing completion...

Now I've got myself a serious case of furniture envy!
Seriously, it looks great. When you get set-up, I would use some photos as a marketing tool - website, etc. |

I've got a few more items that need construction, but will-do on the pics.
I'm just hoping it looks as nice as it looks. I've got a few other items from this vendor and KK Audio in my other rooms, but nothing quite like this (and yes, I went with the mahogany upgrade).
For the damn price, it'd better be, lol. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

as in "yes"... for the most part (I want to use it with my dad for some of the stuff that the doctor asked him to so. I think not having the effect of bone conduction will help him to improve much more than he currently has).
I'm grabbing some stuff that's just been lying around and setting up my own place for auditions, experimenting, practice, etc. Right now I need to clean out the area (spare bedroom), build some gobos, build a DAW, add some minor acoustical treatment) and I should be ready.
It's been a killer to not have my own place to do this for the past 8 months or so. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

More a Darth Vader desk it is, than a Yoda desk, is it not?
Still, to you give I congratulations for this worthy purchase! |
