The Acela is a great way to travel! And no, this is not a paid announcement.
The Sheraton Center City Hotel has far better furnishings than my humble home! I am going to take a look around before the meat grinder of the convention begins churning. I'm staahvin', for one thing so I'ma take my gameboy and head for a place on the premises that serves good food and strong drink, cuz it ain't like I'm driving anywhere.
xoxo
Dear Loves, Please do not send me demo stuff or other attachments while I'm here.
The servers here not only cost $10 per day, but are S-L-O.
I'll be back at Camp Cooper Sunday Night. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Deebs,
Do you have wireless for your room? Have you tried a server search? While I was in NYC recently, the hotel I was staying in charged $15 a day for wireless. Instead I used the hotel across the street's wireless for free.
Just a thought. |

...currently in negotiations with "VAs Gone Wild"
once all those pesky legalities have been finalized, you'll be able to find it on late night TV commercials.
In a really classy move, DB is doing the VO to the commercial with her footage.

Bwah!
I haven't had my hands on my camera at all this trip.
There's a lot of hard-core convention stuff: constitutional amendments, Roberts' Rules, caucuses, speeches.
John Connelly, the former union prez showed up.
Tonight was a huge gala shindig at the Wanamaker Building. They had open-topped omnibuses taking people there, and and before we went up to the top of the building where the Tea Room is, we got to hear a man play a pipe organ that they said was the largest working pipe organ in the world.
What a sound!
There was an intensely great band and wonderful food.
Great company, too; I sat with a group of singers— some real hot shots from Nashville and a guy from New York.
AFTRA has a diverse bunch of talent, that's for sure.
If anything interesting happens, I'll let you know-- it's all pretty mundane as for as the daytime crap is concerned. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
